Customize your documentation even further with exporter custom properties
Custom exporters can have custom properties, which will appear in the settings tab of the documentation editor. Here you can override the default exporter settings to make it your own.

Edit custom properties

Once your custom exporter is installed, a new list of sections will appear in the documentation editor settings menu (if this exporter has custom properties). Here, you can make changes to the exporter that will appear in your published documentation.

    In your documentation editor, click the Settings icon

    Select a section other than the default which contains a list of custom exporter properties
  3. 3.
    Make changes to desired properties, and click Update
  4. 4.
    Publish the documentation to see the new property values applied

Use tokens to set custom properties

Use tokens from your design system to style your documentation. To make style changes available in your chosen exporter, go to Settings in the documentation editor.

Select a custom property value (static or token)

When a color or font is defined as a property, you can choose to enter a static value (i.e. a hex value) or, select a token from your design system, or leave it empty to use the exporter defaults:

Reset a custom property to default

If you have chosen a token or static value, you can optionally reset it to the default by clicking the reset button.
