What is an asset?

In Supernova, assets are exportable components that are used in your design system. These assets are considered a component that you may want to export, such as icons, and any components that are exportable in Figma will be imported into Supernova as an asset.

Working with assets

To see your assets in Supernova, import a Figma file that contains components with an export setting in Figma. See Figma 101.

The assets will then appear under the Assets tab in your design system.

Download an asset

1. Navigate to the Assets tab in your design system.
2. Hover over an asset to show the download button.
3. Click Download….
4. Select one or more formats to download, and click Download.

1. Navigate to the Assets tab in your design system.
2. To download multiple assets, click the ••• menu for the group you would like to download.
3. Click Download….
4. Select one or more formats to download, and click Download.

1. Navigate to the Assets tab in your design system.
2. To download all of your assets at once, click the Download all button.
3. Select one or more formats to download, and click Download.
