Admin

Admins can manage all aspects of the workspace, including:

  • Creating new design systems
  • Managing members and billing
  • Editing workspace settings

Any member with a Full (Editor) or Builder seat can be promoted to Admin.

Grant or revoke admin permissions

Role: Admin+
  1. Go to Settings → Workspace → Members.
  2. Confirm the user has a Full (Editor) or Builder seat.
  3. Hover over the user row and click •••.
  4. Select Make admin/Revoke admin.
  5. Review the permissions and confirm.

Owner

Owners have full control over the workspace. They can edit any workspace or design system setting, manage billing and accounts, delete the workspace and grant ownership.

The following actions require owner permissions:

  • Accessing private design systems as a non-member
  • Accessing private projects as a non-member
  • Deleting the workspace

A workspace can have multiple owners, and any owner can promote another member to owner.

Grant or revoke owner permissions

  1. Go to Settings → Workspace → Members.
  2. Confirm the user has a Full (Editor) or Builder seat.
  3. Hover over the user row and click •••.
  4. Select Make admin/Revoke admin.
  5. Review the permissions and confirm.
