Importing your Figma components to Supernova allows you to display them in your documentation and connect them with design system components.
Figma components section displays all components imported to your design system from Figma files.

You can preview imported component’s variants and properties, by clicking on the component tile.
Importing components
To see your Figma components in Supernova, import a Figma file that contains components. You can import assets from Figma directly from the Components section.

You'll see the number of components imported from your file in the import summary.
Find an imported assets
You can easily search for a component from your Figma component list using the search bar at the top right corner of the screen.
Troubleshooting
Error: No components found
You'll see this error message if no components exist in the file or if they were not published.
To fix this:
- Check you're importing from the correct file.
- Check if the components are published.
If you don’t want to import components from this file, go to Data Sources, locate the file, and disable the Components scope. This will remove the file from the components section along with the error.
