Setting up context

Standardize how teams start new prototypes and projects with consistent design system settings and AI guidance.

Creating contexts

How can I create a context that only I can access?

Once a context is saved, you cannot change design system, dataset, component set, or icon pack. You can only update the theme, adjust stroke width of icons, and edit the custom knowledge.

Why don’t I see any containers available?

Code containers need to be set up by a developer. Once setup is completed, after refresh, you should see a list of containers available to select from.

I don’t see my container in the list

If your workspace has multiple design systems, make sure you are in the correct design system.

Editing and updating

How do I edit a prototyping context?

Once a context is saved, you cannot change design system, dataset, component set, or icon pack. You can only update the theme, adjust stroke width of icons, and edit the custom knowledge.

How can I update the shared context with new version of code container?

  1. In Supernova navigation, go to prototyping contexts.
  2. Edit the context you want to update.
  3. Select a new version of the container.
  4. Publish the updated context.

I updated my shared context, but my existing prototype doesn’t use the latest changes

  • Existing prototypes: Always use the container version they were created with. Uploading a new version never affects work in progress.
  • New prototypes: Use whatever version is currently set in their prototyping context. If a workspace admin updates the context to a newer version, all new prototypes created with that context will use the new version.

What can be edited after saving shared context?
