Focus mode in the documentation editor 🎯
We’re happy to introduce a feature that promotes a clean, distraction-free writing experience: Focus mode in the Documentation editor!
This update helps you to pay attention to what’s important by collapsing navigation and property panels, allowing for a more focused writing and editing environment. Also optimised for smaller screens, the panels adapt to your available space automatically.
What’s new 🌟
- Improved navigation: Collapse or expand panels to keep your workspace clutter-free.
- Better readability: Focus on the content you need without distractions.
- Saving clicks: When collapsed, panels open and close automatically on hover.
- Pin sections: Click to open a section and keep it always visible while you are using it.
- Custom state: Panels remember their last state, so your preferred layout persists.
- Keyboard shortcuts: Quickly toggle focus mode using the Cmd ⌘ / Ctrl ^ + \.
How to get it
- This new feature is enabled by default.
- You’ll see a new icon at the top of each panel ([<] or [>]) for collapsing each panel. Open collapsed panels again by clicking the expand icon ([<] or [>]).
- You can also toggle the Focus mode from the Documentation context menu •••.
