Page history

See what changed, who changed it, and restore an earlier version to a draft.

This version was released on August 4, 2026.

This feature is available on all plans.

We're introducing Page history. Every meaningful edit to a documentation page is now saved automatically as a snapshot — so you can see what changed, who changed it, and restore any earlier version back into draft.

Page history

  • Snapshots happen automatically.
    • You can also create one manually.
  • A timeline for every page.
    • Click Page history in the editor toolbar to see every snapshot, with who made it and when — and which one is currently published.
  • Block-by-block diffs.
    • Select any snapshot to see exactly what was added, modified, or removed against the previous version.
  • Restore as draft.
    • Pick a snapshot and click Restore as draft. It replaces the current draft only — nothing publishes until you review it. Both Editor and Contributor roles can restore.
