This version was released on December 5, 2023

Downloading SVGs from documentation

You can now directly download your SVG assets from your published documentation! You have the option to download each SVG individually or copy the SVG and paste it wherever you need, such as directly into Figma.

Blocks with 15+ icons include a search functionality so you can easily find the asset you're looking for. You can also download them in bulk as a ZIP file.

How to do it? Just add your assets (icons, illustrations, logos, ...) into the Assets block, publish your documentation, and readers will be able to download them directly from published documentation!

Keep in mind that you need to republish your documentation in order for this change to have effect.

Better, faster Figma import

We're thrilled to roll out significant improvements to our import features for tokens and assets from Figma. Our latest update not only brings a faster and more stable import process but also ensures better handling of larger Figma files.

We have added support for importing SVG assets, which enhances the versatility of your design toolkit. The content of SVGs icon can now be seamlessly integrated and manipulated into our exporters, making it easy and efficient to export to code. This upgrade improves our commitment to streamline and enhance your design-to-code workflow.

General improvements

  • Previews now display a clear banner at the top to help differentiate between preview pages and published, live documentation pages.
This is what the banner will look like in Preview of your documentation.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a bug that caused the incorrect display of the last sync date in our Figma plugin

That's it for this release, and we'll be back with more soon. As always, if you'd like to see something new, fixed, or improved, join our Slack community — we're always there. You can also request a feature via our Feature Request Portal. Thanks for your support!
