Quality of Life Improvements

A set of improvements to make everyday work in Supernova smoother — from navigating larger documentation structures to building more precise Contexts.

This version was released on September 2, 2026.

This release improves the workflows you use every day. We've made it easier to navigate and reorganize larger documentation structures, while giving you more flexibility when filtering Components in Contexts.

Moving pages just got easier

Moving pages around larger documentation structures is now easier.

When dragging a page through the documentation hierarchy, the list now scrolls automatically as you reach its edges, so you can move pages to destinations outside the currently visible area.

The hierarchy also remembers which groups you've expanded or collapsed. Your navigation stays where you left it when you move between pages or refresh, making it easier to keep your place in larger documentation structures.

More flexible Component filtering in Contexts

You can now filter Components in a Context by select and boolean custom properties, so you decide exactly which components go in.

For example, say you're setting up a Context for your React team. If your components have a boolean property like React, filter the Context to components where React is true. The team's AI tools then only see the components that exist in React.

The filter works the same in Supernova and in AI tools connected through MCP. If it points to a property that no longer exists, Supernova now warns you instead of quietly returning the wrong components.

Context drawers also got a better filtering experience: property types are easier to tell apart, value lists are searchable, and keyboard navigation works better.
