Private pages

This version was released on April 4, 2024.

We’re bringing some long-requested improvements for you with this release, including private pages. As always, if you have any questions or feedback, you can reach out to the team at any time!

Private pages

We’re super excited to introduce a new feature so many of you have asked about!

You can now make specific documentation pages (or groups of pages) private.

null

This allows you to share your documentation site publicly while restricting access to certain pages to only your team members.

null

This feature is available for all Enterprise customers.

Navigation layout in editor

The editor is now even closer to what you’ll see in published documentation. From now on, if you switch between Side only and Top and side navigation settings, you’ll immediately see how the navigation layout will be adjusted.

You can also move pages between top and side navigations simply by dragging them. We hope these small changes will make it easier for you to navigate in the editor.

Linking to specific headings

In addition to linking to other pages in your documentation, you can now link to specific H1, H2 & H3 headings. When using this new option, your links will automatically update even when the text of the heading on the page changes.

null

Faster selection in blocks

You no longer have to select assets, Figma layers, or components only from the property panel on the right. If you don’t have any content selected yet in these blocks, you can now see and use the selection button to select them right away.
