Approval workflow
We’re thrilled to announce an exciting new feature based on your valuable feedback about our recently introduced page drafts feature in the documentation editor. This enhancement elevates your draft management, providing greater visibility and control over your documentation. Let's dive in!
You can now access the new Workflow tab under the Settings page in your documentation editor. This feature allows you to enable an approval workflow and optionally restrict the publishing of unapproved pages.
New “Changes” tab
We’ve added a Changes tab to view all of your edited pages in one convenient list. View work in progress and see which pages need to be reviewed.
Add a review status to pages
Enabling approval workflow lets you transition drafts through various review states:
Additionally, turning on the Restrict Publishing of Unapproved Pages option ensures that only pages marked as "Ready for Publish" can be published. This prevents accidental publishing and ensures that only reviewed and approved content goes live.
We hope this new feature enhances your documentation process, providing better oversight and governance.
Happy documenting!
